The breakdown

Duke Cannon is the MN born and bread soap, cologne, and grooming company for men who think that most men's products are embarrassing. Their Liquid Cologne line needed a Valentine's Day push.

The brief

The DC team brought us in on a fast-moving timeline with the concept still taking shape - a humorous 'Man-Child' spot that had to work as a Valentine's Day buy and keep running for months after the initial launch.

What the work had to do:

  • Produce a :30 hero, :15 & :10 cutdowns for the Liquid Cologne line, in market January 9, 2026
  • Build alt versions for Valentine's Day and the three-month run post-holiday
  • Cast and coordinate four principal talent plus background extras in a week
  • Deliver packaged assets so Duke Cannon's internal team could take it straight into post
a childish man looking through his backpack at a nice restaurant

a childish man looking at a menu in a nice restaurant and opening the cologne
You got a week, so make it count.
The payoff

Duke Cannon hit their launch date and saw immediate traction with their Valentine's Day campaign and post-holiday run.

“Given the one week timeline from script to shoot I’m just stoked we pulled it off. And everyone here has been ecstatic about how these turned out!”

— Jules Ameel, Sr. Visual Content Specialist, Duke Cannon

Is this you?

You’re…

  • A brand marketer with a launch date coming fast
  • Trying to stand out in a category where everybody is fighting for the same attention
  • Sitting on a good brief that could use another set of creative eyes before production

You need…

  • A creative production partner who can sharpen the idea and get it made without a bunch of runaround
  • Humor that feels true to the brand, not bolted on for attention
  • Creative that gets attention without losing the point

Sound familiar? Let's talk.
